The Twill Dutch Weave is a combination of Twill Weave and Dutch Weave. The weft wires are passed alternately over and under two warp wires forming a fine mesh in one direction and a coarse mesh in the other. The mesh has a double layer of weft wires woven in twill pattern and making its density twice that of the Dutch Weave thus obtaining a rigid, stable and robust type of wire mesh fabric. It packs more wires in a given area and is possible to produce up to several thousand meshes. It is used for critical filtration applications often under high pressure.
